On April 27 and May 2, we provided a training workshop of our volunteers who are interested in serving in our 24 Hour Women Hotline. Through the practice of hotline situational dialogue, news analysis and sharing session, we hope to introduce the service of our organisation, the definition and differenct forms of destic violence, and skills of counselling and hotline call handling etc. Volunteers were very committed during the part of sharing their views towards abusers and victims, and that they were very satisfied with the training. After the basic training, qualified voluntary workers will be arranged to sit in and practice on hotline call handling.
