Invited by the Education Bureau of Hong Kong, Harmony House participated in an event to promote our services and the message of family harmony through booth games engagement on 1 of June. On that day, we prepared interactive games to let participants know more about the situation of abused children and the pressure that caregivers have. We also set up an online game to interact with participants. Based on participants’ feedback, we found that 67% of them believed it is important to strengthen communication with family members, whereas 54% of them believed that it is important to share mutual acceptance, while 48% of them believed mutual respect contributes to building a harmonious family. We also played a series of videos to let audience know the preventive measures of child abuse, whilst we also introduced the services covered by the organization. We used different engaging methods to attract the public to pay visit to our booth, further to inquire more about our organization and services.
