Volunteers of Women Hotline participated in this advanced training course and learned the techniques of “listening” and “responding” through role playing. They also shared the difficulties they encountered when handling hotline calls, but thanks to our guest lecture who reciprocated with the voluntary workers by providing valuable suggestions. During Gathering, volunteers were divided up into different groups to bake cheese mochi balls. During the process, we saw the enhancement in the interaction and communication between them and they were very committed into the creation of Mid-Autumn Festival lanterns. They would mutually observe, communicate and appreciate the art pieces by others, which enhanced their friendship.
